Vivian (10th) and Lilly (12th) O. - both in blue - performed in the Omaha Conservatory of Music’s benefit concert for the Poor Clares. They played beautifully!
December 8, 2025 - It’s been busy at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.
Congratulations to JPII’s robotics teams on their success in their robotics competitions! The Program Pirates placed 4th & The Junk Jawas placed 5th at the end of the night.
Last week’s snowfall saw a lot of action thanks to the lower school! Students had a great time finding icicles, exploring the snow, and engaging in snowball fights.
A major highlight of the week: JPII attended a matinee performance at The Orpheum of Act 2 of The Nutcracker by the American Midwest Ballet. Students enjoyed a beautiful performance set to Tchaikovsky’s classic score filled with dazzling costumes and impressive dancing. On the bus ride home, the lower school girls sharing what roles they would cast each other as in a hypothetical performance.
JPII students participated in First Friday Eucharistic Adoration at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. And this weekend, the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team did very well, securing a win on the court! Go Griffins!
