Last Week at JPII - 11/03/25
This week, we had some special classroom visitors!
November 3, 2025 - It’s been busy at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.
Our students enjoyed some brief classroom visits from Sister Maura Thérèse and Sister Mary Ruth from the School Sisters of Christ the King in Lincoln. We are so grateful for their presence and joyful witness of their vocation to our students!
On the left, Girls Leadership received a sewing lesson from Mrs. Murray! In the center, Boy’s Leadership learned how to tie ties! On the right, two second graders showcase their autumn leaf scarecrows they created during recess.
On the left, 1st and 2nd grade act out “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.” On the right, Kindergarten hard at work on a Fall-themed project in art class.
This week, the JPII High School was joined by students from Roncalli Catholic for a retreat at Holy Family Shrine in Gretna, Nebraska. And on the right, JPII Junior Leah, wins 1st place in her age division at the annual Hot Cider Hustle. Congratulations, Leah!
Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
