Last Week at JPII - 03/02/26

Congrats to our Griffin Basketball teams on a great season! We’re proud of the sportsmanship and teamwork they’ve displayed on and off the court.

March 2, 2026 - It’s been busy at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.

This year, we had 5 Griffin Basketball teams! 7/8 grade boys (above), K/1 Co-Ed, 1/2 Girls, 3/4 Boys, and 5/6 boys, who are playing in next week’s championship game! Good luck, boys!

Students have been getting the most out of the remaining piles of snow around campus.

Girls Leadership did some gardening with Mrs. Jansen, creating milk jug greenhouses and planting radishes, snap peas, lettuce, spinach, kale and green onions. Boys Leadership learned to make and use invisible ink for secret messages.

Fr. Boyd visited classrooms, teaching the children about the development of surnames. 7th and 8th grade girls had their weekly Seminar class with Ms. Hare. And faculty enjoyed boardgames during some downtime during Parent Teacher Conferences.

Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
