Last Week at JPII - 09/01/25

Happy Labor Day weekend! ☀️ See you on Tuesday!

September 1, 2025 - It’s been busy at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.

We wrapped up the first full week of school with the annual all-school photo on the front lawn of Holy Ghost Church!

A peek inside the 1st & 2nd grade classroom - watercolors in art class and a project on the different types of clouds in science class!

What’s bugging you? The lower school girls found a live un-molted cicada nymph during recess this week. In addition, Boys Leadership (1st-4th) went on a bug hunt! Highlights included finding an ant hole, an abundance of cicada shells, and a whole praying mantis!

And who doesn’t love a good fruit popsicle? That’s how we celebrated the first full week of school. See more photos of the fun at www.jpomaha.org/gallery/popsicle-25

Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
