Last Week at JPII - 10/06/25
Thérèse Hall celebrated the feast of their Hall Patron, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, on Wednesday!
October 6, 2025 - It’s been busy at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.
Students started off the feast of St. Thérèse with a hall shirt day and placing flowers on an outdoor altar dedicated to St. Thérèse. They also enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by the Thérèse Hall parents!
A peek inside the 5th & 6th classroom this week: keyword outline presentations in front of the whole class for IEW, and an in-class feast celebrating the completion of their first literature book of the year!
Engaging with the natural world through the lens of science - 7th & 8th grade constructed their own molecules, while 5th & 6th conducted a lab on phase change using salt and water.
Inside the lower school this week: Boys’ Leadership learned how to build snares, and 1st & 2nd painted St. Thérèse peg dolls in art class for her feast day.
More from the lower school: on the left, K and 1st grade boys stop for a picture during recess after realizing they were all in Thérèse Hall together. On the right, 1st & 2nd graders make a visit to the Eucharist during First Friday Adoration at Holy Ghost.
And now for a few funnies to round out the week… On the left, a student in his natural habitat. In the center, students…also in their natural habitat. On the right, another student…also in his natural habitat. See you on Monday!
Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
