2026 Army Corps of Engineers SAME Competition
JPII’s Middle School Engineering Club earned an Award of Distinction at the 2026 S.A.M.E. competition at UNO’s Scott Conference Center, placing 3rd out of 16 teams.
Their project was a redesign of the JPII Academy campus to include more classrooms, a bigger gym, and more green space.
The proposal was well-researched and designed, and students impressed with their confidence and communication during their presentation before the panel of judges.
